EnergyX was established in the autumn of 2019 with the purpose of building a vertical software portfolio with solutions developed especially for energy companies.  We are continuously working towards our goal to replace old software with modern and smart cloud solutions that makes our customers workday better. EnergyX is a part of Cegal since Jan 22. 

 

Today, EnergyX supplies its products and services to many companies and organisations, both nationally and internationally. Our customers include Gassco, Wintershall Dea, AkerBP, Vår Energi, Repsol, INEOS, EASEE-gas and Norsk olje &gas. 

 

Our team includes a great mix of experts in Hydrocarbon Management who are doing consulting work for our customers existing systems, whereas others are developing new software solutions.

As a Business Consultant you will work in a team where the focus is to understand the customer's processes and challenges, and to participate in the design of new solutions through dialogue-driven innovation work. You will lead process mapping and drive change management with our customers. You will work with Energy X products and/or Energy Components.  

  

• Analyzing requirements in close cooperation with our customers 

• Identify and document shortcomings, challenges, and opportunities in close collaboration with the product owner 

• Have the overall responsibility for developing a delivery plan, and for the project delivery as a whole 

• Work in agile project teams, both internally and externally 

  

• Solid technical background and experience from working with IT. Experience with scripting and databases, with the ability to connect the dots between needs and solutions 

• Ability to put unstructured information into context and present stories that are easy to follow and understand 

• Experience in oil and gas/hydrocarbon allocation is an advantage 

• Fluent English, written and oral 

• Preferably you have a relevant Master or Bachelor’s degree 

 

• You are a trusted advisor - by actively listening and understanding to our customers’ needs and opportunities, you contribute to increase their value creation 

• You are open, curious, and ambitious  

• You have excellent collaboration skills and are highly motivated to work in teams where you get energy from sharing your knowledge with others
